Well this is one question , many foreign friends of mine have asked me, Why do women wear sarees especially in South India?

the Answer is pretty simple if you think of it

Every country, every tradition have their own traditional outfits , infact every country/every culture/every occasion has its own outfit

If its a meeting with an International client ,we wear western formals,if its a Christian wedding , we wear gowns, if we go out for shopping,or lunch with friends or when we catch up for a movie,we dress up casual

I feel clothes help in setting up a trend that actually defines or rather marks your identity

so when we specifically talk about sarees,it identifies as a traditional ethnic attire worn by women in almost for all occasions

draping a saree is an art , it is “THE ATTIRE” which can be worn by any woman , it doesn’t judge on your size and shape, anyone can drape a saree and instantly it makes you look like graceful, stunning

Now-a -Days, just not Indian woman alone but even foreign ladies have learnt to drape sarees and appreciate the dressing style

sarees can be choosen as per the weather, silk sarees in winter and cotton in summer

Sarees are versatile
